LEAD STYLIST:
Focusing on our corporate clients, the Lead Stylist will be fundamental to the growth and direction of the department, taking lead on the delivery of purchase and rental packages for our clients. Our core clientele are large and medium scale developers, looking to style display suites, presentation centres and amenity spaces, alongside private client who wish to furnish their homes. We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with a strong sense of style, to join our dynamic team and bring strong professionalism and experience to the position. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming spaces into beautiful, functional environments that reflect our clients’ vision and brand. Your creativity will directly contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional styling services.
Responsibilities
· Strong client management throughout the design process, from inception to project completion.
· Ability to understand the sales and negotiation side of the business, confidently negotiating & winning jobs.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
· Create innovative design concepts and presentations using digital tools and software.
· Strong understanding of furniture, accessories, and color schemes selections that align with our company aesthetic and client goals, including building out spec sheets with detailed inventory tracking.
· Develop furniture layouts and floor plans using digital tools and software.
· Understanding of millwork drawings and their application (as required).
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
· Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback effectively.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design.
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
· Manage styling inventory and continually work to build strong margins on furniture sales through smart sourcing and ordering.
Qualifications
· Excellent communication skills for client interactions and presentations, with experience working with corporate clients.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and helping the department grow and develop.
· Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
· Proven experience as an Interior Designer/Stylist or similar role.
· Minimum 5 years experience as an Interior Designer/Stylist.
· Strong understanding of color theory, space planning, and furniture selection.
· Proficiency in digital design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Canva. Some AutoCAD experience would be complimentary but not essential.
Position Details/Compensation
· Permanent – Full Time position.
· Salary: Starting from $60,000.00 – compensation will be based on experience.
· Full benefits Plan (Dental, Medical, Life Insurance).
· Gas mileage and phone reimbursement.
